Motivation: Since 2019, I have been following ecological concerns related to climate change and sustainability. I began documenting my passages and experiences, at first, as a mere observer, and later out of concern.
My most recent research project delves into water as memory, reflecting on future landscapes and climate inheritance through image documentation and sharing these reflections publicly. The summer of 2026, I began to work on studies from gathered documentation (2025-26) in my studio. These studies, or sketches (as i call them), involve photographs, video art, micro installation (maquettes), and mixed media representations for future site specific exhibitions.
Water, is our primary connection to the planet and all life. Water carries layered histories of extraction and memory. This research observes a concern for a vital element at risk.
